"...ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem..."

"...ye shall be witnesses unto me...in all Judaea..."

"...ye shall be witnesses unto me...in Samaria..."

"...ye shall be witnesses

unto me...unto the uttermost

part of the earth..."

As a staff member, I was called upon to present a part of the budget for the New Year. I can tell you that a great part of the 50% for missions was used to reach “... Jerusalem ... Judaea ... and Samaria...” along with the foreign field. I learned from Dr. Roberson that our mission was four fold.

I live in South Florida.  There are over 13 million people who live in South Florida. I know of cities where there is a great need for a church of like faith. I have traveled to many parts of the world in the mission work of our church.  I have had the joy of preaching the Gospel to those who are sitting in darkness.

There are very few places in the world where there are as many people living in an area without a lighthouse (a church) as there are in some parts of our nation. I do not believe that it is too late for America.  I do not believe that it is the will of God for us to lose our nation.

I would never say or suggest that we back off or slow down our foreign mission work. I am asking all believers to pray for our nation, and ask the Lord to open our eyes to one of the greatest mission fields in the world, America.

We are to make Christ known in:

What is our mission? We learn from the book of Acts that our mission is to take the message of Christ to four areas, “Jerusalem . . . Judaea . . . Samaria and the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8). We are not to leave one area out. We are to make Christ known in these four areas at the same time.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. –Acts 1:8
